What’s changing?

In addition to the existing communication channels CMT staff use to get in contact with on-unit RNs and PCTs with non-urgent requests, CMT staff will now be able to send requests via Dispatch directly to the appropriate on-unit staff person’s phone.

Notification Types

CMT staff will be able to send three different notifications:

  1. Replace Telemetry Battery
  2. Check Telemetry Leads
  3. Call CMT

Huddle Card

Starting November 3rd, 2025, CMT staff will be able to use Dispatch to send on-unit RNs and PCTs non-urgent requests, in addition to the existing communication channels (secure chat and phone call). These requests will include the following:

  1. Replace Telemetry Battery (sent to PCT, escalated to RN)
  2. Check Telemetry Leads (sent to PCT, escalated to RN)
  3. Call CMT (sent to RN, escalated to Charge RN)

Please continue to use the same process of responding to these requests as you do with patient requests - choosing a response option once you receive them and then marking them complete once done. This will let the CMT staff know these issues are being addressed..
