Patients can now easily navigate between Dispatch’s core request options and other workflows (like meal ordering) using the tabs at the top of their bedside tablet display.

We have separated out Dispatch’s core call options from other integrated features using tabs that appear on the top of the screen on the patient tablet. Patients can navigate between the call options (”Get Help” tab) and other features by selecting the appropriate tab.

With this change, patients can navigate to use other features (like meal ordering) while their help request is being handled.

Dispatch has released an update to the patient app on the bedside tablets to improve user experience by separating out the core request options from meal ordering using tabs at the top of the screen. When a patient wants to order a meal, they can access CBORD (meal ordering platform) by navigating the to “Order Food” tab and then navigate back to making requests using the “Get Help” tab.
Please be sure to point out these tabs and their functionality when you orient patients to their Dispatch tablets at admission.
